Godly Wisdom, Motivation,His Vision Becomes Reality

Malachi 3;6 For I, HASHEM, have not changed; and you, the sons of Jacob, you have not perished. 7Since the days of your forefathers you have veered away from My laws and you have not observed them. Return to Me and I will return to you! says HASHEM, Master of Legions…

Ezekiel 18;30 Therefore, I will judge you, each man according to his ways, O House of Israel- the word of the Lord, HASHEM/ELOHIM. Return and bring [others] back from all your transgressions through which you have transgressed, and make for yourselves a new heart and a new spirit. Why should you die, O House of Israel? 32 For I do not desire the death of one who should die- the word of the Lord, HASHEM/ELOHIM. Turn [yourselves] back and live!

–The last Torah portion we encountered the unimaginable breadth of God’s faithfulness, mercy and grace. The Children of Israel committed spiritual adultery against their Groom and worshiped an idol. By the fervent pleading by their intercessor Moshe, whom God had placed in this very position to appeal to His Goodness, for this very time…we see not only does God forgive and renew the Covenant, but He strengthens it will more eternal promises. We come now to a double-portion having been up the mountain with Moshe drinking in all the instructions God has given Moshe about the Tabernacle, its workings and its vessels….now we will experience the people’s gifts and workings as the Mishkan is actually built. The verse of Malachi and Ezekiel open our hearts to realize that these people surely have come having repented from their sins and now seek with changed hearts to serve God with all of their hearts. They are willing to give all they have and to do the work, transformed into a legion endowed with God’s word or wisdom, the memra, Yeshua, ever present for every aspect of this ‘construction’.

Vayakhel- Assembled

–Moses comes down from the Mountain with the second set of Tablets and the good news from HASHEM. His face is shining from being in the Presence of the expressed ‘image’ of the glory of the ‘Lawgiver’, the ‘Covenant Maker’, the One by Whom all things came to be… and Moshe’s face shines with the reflected glory of Yeshua, as he assembles the people and once again reiterates the importance of the Sabbath commands, the Sign of the Covenant.
[*Exodus 34;30 Aaron and all the Children of Israel saw Moses, and behold!- the skin of his face had become radiant; and they feared to approach him. 31 Moses called to them, and Aaron and all the leaders of the assembly returned to him, and Moses would speak to them. 32 After that, all the Children of Israel would approach; he would speak to them regarding everything that HASHEM had spoken to Moses on Mount Sinai.
*Colossians 1;15 He is the visible image of the invisible God. He is supreme over all creation, 16 because in connection with him were created all things- in heaven and on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones, lordships, rulers or authorities-they have all been created through him and for him. 17 He existed before all things, and he holds all things together.
*Hebrews 1;1 In days gone by, God spoke in many varied ways to the Fathers through the prophets. 2 But now in the acharit-hayamim (end of days), he has spoken to us through his Son, to whom he has given ownership of everything and through whom he created the universe. 3 This Son is the radiance of the Sh’kinah (Glory), the very expressing of God’s essence, upholding all that exists by his powerful word;]

*Exodus 35;1 Moses assembled the entire assembly of the Children of Israel and said to them: “These are the things that HASHEM commanded, to do them: 2″‘On six days, work may be done, but the seventh day shall be holy for you, a day of complete rest for HASHEM; whoever does work on it shall be put to death. 3 You shall not kindle fire in any of your dwellings on the Sabbath day.'”

*Numbers 15; 32 The Children of Israel were in the Wilderness and they found a man gathering wood on the Sabbath day. 33 Those who found him gathering wood brought him to Moses and Aaron, and to the entire assembly. 34 They placed him in custody, for it had not been clarified what should be done to him. 35 HASHEM said to Moses: “The man shall be put to death, the entire assembly shall pelt him with stones outside of the camp.” 36 The entire assembly removed him to the outside of the camp; they pelted him with stones and he died, as HASHEM had commanded Moses.

*Jeremiah 7; 18 The sons gather wood, the fathers kindle the fire, and the women knead dough- to make pastries in honor of the queen of heaven and to pour out libations to the gods of others, in order to provoke Me. 19 Is it Me they are provoking? -the word of HASHEM. Is it not themselves, bringing shame upon themselves?

*Jeremiah 17;24 And it shall be that if you truly listen to Me- the word of HASHEM- and do not bring a burden into the gates of this city on the Sabbath day, and to sanctify the Sabbath day, not to do any [manner of] work on it, 25 then , kings and princes who sit upon the throne of David will enter the gates of this city, riding chariots and horses- they and their officers, the men of Judah and all the inhabitants of Jerusalem- and this city will be inhabited forever;

–“You shall not work on the Sabbath day,” the seventh day, the day set apart and holy to HASHEM, holy to you. Work- mla’kah: employment, work, concretely, property as a result of labor. The gathering of wood leads to the building of a fire, the fire is the means by which all personal ‘gain’ can be made. This fire is one that would be used to make, produce, or create any material or product that would cause a gain in ones property, wealth, livelihood. Abstaining from this ‘kindling’ on the Sabbath day, this work for personal gain or satisfaction, shows that we not only put all trust in HASHEM to provide for our needs but is the proof that we know all things come from Him. Plan ahead, kindle the fire before the Sabbath, have the wood gathered with prior effort, in anticipation for honoring God’s rest…all the warmth and sustenance we will ‘need’ will come from HASHEM, and He will not diminish your ‘bottom line’ if you are willing to truly trust in Him and honor Him on His Sabbath.

*Matthew 6;19 “Do not store up for yourselves wealth here on earth, where moths and rust destroy, and burglars break in and steal. 20 Instead, store up for yourselves wealth in heaven, where neither moth nor rust destroys, and burglars do not break in or steal. 21 For where your wealth is, there your heart will be also. 22′ The eye is the lamp of the body.’ So if you have a ‘good eye’ [that is, if you are generous] your whole body will be full of light; 23 but if you have an ‘evil eye’ [if you are stingy] your whole body will be full of darkness. If , then, the light in you is darkness, how great is that darkness! 24 No one can be a slave to two masters; for he will either hate the first and love the second, or scorn the second and be loyal to the first. You can’t be a slave to both God and money. 25 “Therefore, I tell you, don’t worry about your life- what you will eat or drink; or about your body- what you will wear. Isn’t life more than food and the body more than clothing? 26 Look at the birds flying about! They neither plan nor harvest, nor do they gather food into barns; yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Aren’t you worth more than they are? 27 Can any of you by worrying add a single hour to his life?

*Exodus 35;4 Moses said to the entire assembly of the Children of Israel, saying: “This is the word that HASHEM has commanded, saying: 5 “Take from yourselves a portion for HASHEM, everyone whose heart motivates him shall bring it, as the portion for HASHEM: gold, silver, copper; 6 turquoise, purple and scarlet wool; linen, goat hair;7 red-dyed ram skins, tachash skins, acacia wood; 8 oil for illumination, spices for the anointment oil and the aromatic incense;9 shoham stones and stones for the settings, for the Ephod and the Breastplate.

–As we read through the eternal there are clearly ‘repetitious’ words and ideas in these parashot, these portions are truly centered on the heart. The change God solicits with His mercy and grace and forgiveness and blessings is drawn from the inmost depths of the heart. This change and transformation comes as a result of active response to God, and yet is brought about by the work of the Spirit in each one of us. God twice inscribes by His ‘finger’ the words of the covenant on the second set of Tablets, God’s Vows, His Ketubah (wedding document) to His ‘body’, His bride…He promises the new covenant and eternal nature of His Word and His people respond, with all of their hearts. Are our hearts motivated to contribute all that we have, more than what is ‘asked’ for the advancement of His Kingdom and the sanctification of His Name upon the earth? What is your hearts motivation?

*Jeremiah 31;30 Behold, days are coming-the word of HASHEM- when I will seal a new covenant with the House of Israel and the House of Judah: 31 not like the covenant that I sealed with their forefathers on the day that I took hold of their hand to take them out of the land of Egypt, for they abrogated My covenant, although I became their Master- the word of HASHEM. 32 For this is the covenant that I shall seal with the House of Israel after those days-the word of HASHEM- I will place My Torah within them and I will write it onto their heart; I will be a God for them and they will be a people for Me. 33 They will no longer teach- each man his fellow, each man his brother- saying, “Know HASHEM!’ For all of them will know Me, from their smallest to their greatest- the word of HASHEM- when I will forgive their iniquity and will no longer recall their sin. 34 Thus said HASHEM, Who gives the sun as a light by day and the laws of the moon and the stars as a light by night; Who agitates the sea so that its waves roar; HASHEM, Master of Legions, is His Name: 35 If these laws could be removed from before Me- the word of HASHEM- so could the seed of Israel cease from being a people before Me forever. 36 Thus said HASHEM: if the heavens above could be measured or the foundations of the earth plumbed below, so too would I reject the entire seed of Israel because of everything they did- the word of HASHEM.

–In stark contrast to the people rising early to sin, eagerly stripping themselves of their gold for the means of their selfish desires and wandering direction, here the people willingly, anxiously, generously and profusely bring not only the materials needed to complete this holy task, in God’s prescribed order, but they set their hearts to the work. The drive, purpose, inspiration of their willing hearts manifests itself in the labor they contribute. We will see a running theme: To construct a Sanctuary in your life, to make your home and being a dwelling place for the Lord…there will be work, and labor….to do and to perform.

*Proverbs 13;4 The soul of the sluggard lusts and has nothing, but the soul of the diligent will be fattened.

*Ecclesiastes 9;10 Whatever you are able to do with all your might, do it. For their is neither doing nor reckoning nor knowledge nor wisdom in the grave where you are going.

*Exodus 35;10 “Every wise-hearted person among you shall come and make everything that HASHEM has commanded…
21 Every man whose heart inspired him came; and everyone whose heart motivated him brought bracelets, nose-rings, rings, body ornaments- all sorts of gold ornaments-every man who raised up an offering of gold to HASHEM. 24 Every man with whom was found turquoise, purple and scarlet wool, linen and goat hair, red-dyed ram skins, and tachash skins brought them. 24 Every man who separated a portion of silver or copper brought it as a portion for HASHEM; and everyone with whom there was acacia wood for any work of the labor brought it. 25 Every wise-hearted woman spun with her hands; and they brought the spun yarn of turquoise, purple, and scarlet wool, and the linen. 26 All the women whose hearts inspired them with wisdom spun the goat hair. 27 The leaders brought the shoham stones and the stones for the settings for the Ephod and the breastplate;28 the spice and the oil, for illumination and for the anointment oil and the incense spices. 29 Every man and woman whose heart motivated them to bring for any of the work that HASHEM had commanded to make, through Moses- the Children of Israel brought a free-willed offering to HASHEM.

*Micah 4;1 It will be in the end of days that the mountain of the Temple of HASHEM will be firmly established as the most prominent of the mountains, and it will be firmly established as the most prominent of the mountains, and it will be exalted up above the hills, and peoples will stream to it. 2 Many nation will go and say, ‘Come, let us go up to the Mountain of HASHEM and to the Temple of the God of Jacob, and He will teach us on His ways and we will walk in His paths.’ For from Zion shall go forth the Torah, and the word of HASHEM from Jerusalem.

*Joel 3;5 And it will be that anyone who calls in the Name of HASHEM will escape, for on the mountain of Zion and in Jerusalem there will be refuge as HASHEM said, and among the survivors whom HASHEM summons.
*Mark 8;7 Then a cloud enveloped them; and a voice came out of the cloud, “This is my Son, whom I love. Listen to him!”

*Matthew 3;16 As soon as Yeshua had been immersed, he came up out of the water. At that moment heaven was opened, he saw the Spirit of God coming down upon him like a dove, 17 and a voice from heaven said, “This is My Son, whom I love; I am well pleased with him.”

—ADONAI, may we all be watching, waiting hopefully and alertly for Your Salvation. Please show us Your Yeshua, soon in our days!

*Psalm 91;1 Whoever sits in the refuge of the Most High, he shall dwell in the shadow of the Almighty. 2 I will say of HASHEM, “[He is] my refuge and my fortress, my God, I will trust in Him.” 3 For He will deliver you from the ensnaring trap, from devastating pestilence. 4 With His pinion HE will cover you, and beneath His wings you will be protected; His truth is shield and armor. 5 You shall not fear the terror of night; nor the arrow that flies by day; 6 nor the pestilence that walks in gloom; nor the destroyer who lays waste at noon. 7 A thousand may fall victim at your side and a myriad at your right hand, but to you it shall not approach. 8 You will merely peer with your eyes and you will see the retribution of the wicked. 9 Because [you said], “You HASHEM, are my refuge,” you have made the Most High your abode. 10 No evil will befall you, nor will any plague come near your tent. 11 He will charge His angels for you, to protect you in all your ways. 12 On [their] palms they will carry you, lest you strike your foot against a stone. 13 Upon the lion and the viper you will tread; you will trample the young lion and the serpent. 14 For he had yearned for Me and I will deliver him; I will elevate him because he knows My Name.15 He will call upon Me and I will answer him, I am with him in distress; I will release him and I will bring him honor. 16 With long life will I satisfy him, and I will show him My salvation.

–The two men HASHEM has proclaimed or called (qra-Kof,reish,aleph):call out to, bidden, pronounce….by name are Bezalel: in the Shadow of God; and Oholiab: tent of his father. This is absolutely incredible, these men are head, in charge of the organization, creation, building of the dwelling of God on earth, the Tabernacle; Tent of Meeting. I can not help but think of Yeshua, who will assemble all his people from the four corners of the earth, who will build the third Temple. In Yeshua’s charge and direction, by his proclaimed authority…the Shadow of things to come will become reality and the Tent of the Father will become shelter for all His children and He will sustain us there from his flesh, and feed us from the eternal word, the Torah.

* Exodus 35;30 Moses said to the Children of Israel, “See, HASHEM has proclaimed by name, Bezalel, son of Uri son of Hur, of the tribe of Judah. 31 He filled him with Godly spirit, with wisdom, insight, and knowledge, and with every craft-32 to weave designs, to work with gold, silver and copper; 33 stone-cutting for setting, and wood-carving-to perform every craft of design. 34 He gave him the ability to teach, him and Oholiab, son of Ahisamach, of the tribe of Dan. 35 He filled them with a wise heart to do every craft of the carver, weaver of designs, and embroiderer- with the turquoise, purple, and scarlet wool, and the linen- and the weaver; the artisans of every craft and makers of designs.

–Where did the people get all of the materials that they are now bringing? Lets go back to Egypt. Out of the obedience to God, Whom was looking ahead to this time of the Tabernacle, the people “emptied” Egypt. Surely there were some who did not ask of the Egyptians gold, silver, garments…”They wont give them to us anyway.” We know there was ‘class’ difference for at the census there was no differentiation between the rich or poor, a half-shekel was required from all. So those who were obedient leaving Egypt are at this point able to give all the more. We note that the women worked with wise hearts and set their hands to the spindle. As a stay at home mother I often am invaded by thoughts of my ‘lack of contribution’ to the household ‘funds’. The men brought the precious metals and stones, yet the women contributed what they could with all their hearts and it was just as much a part of the Tabernacle as any vessel or socket. Each one of us has a gift to bring, and we should offer it with all of our hearts knowing that God finds it just as necessary as another, seemingly more ‘precious’ contribution. When we are tuned in, and have ‘signed up’ to be obedient to God’s design, He provides all we will need for us to be able to accomplish His “program”.

*Deuteronomy 6;4 Hear, O Israel: HASHEM is our God, HASHEM is the One and Only. 5 You shall love HASHEM, your God, with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your resources. 6 And these matters that I command you today shall be upon your heart. 7 You shall teach them thoroughly to your children and you shall speak of them while you sit in your home, while you walk on the way, when you retire and when you arise.

*Proverbs 31;10 An accomplished woman who can find? Far beyond pearls is her value. 11Her husband’s heart relies on her and he shall lack no fortune. 12 She bestows goodness upon him, never evil, all the days of her life. 13 She seeks out wool and flax, and her hands work willingly.
19 She stretches her hands to the distaff, and her palms support the spindle.
21She fears not snow for her household, for all her household is clothed in scarlet wool. 22 She made for herself luxurious bedspreads; linen and purple wool are her clothing.
25 Strength and majesty are her raiment, and she joyfully awaits the last day.

Ruth_w_Wheat_3

—This Eshet Chayil- accomplished woman, or woman of valor….is a type of the Children of Israel. Working willingly on the dwelling of Her Husband, even using the same materials (scarlet, purple wool, linen)…we have the opportunity to construct this holy place in our lives, each one…I pray we will all strive to put in the work, I long for His Presence.

*Exodus 36;1 Bezalel shall carry out- with Oholiab and every wise-hearted man within whom HASHEM had endowed wisdom and insight to know and to do all the work for the labor of the Sanctuary-everything that HASHEM had commanded. 2 Moses summoned Bezalel, Oholiab, and every wise-hearted man whose heart HASHEM endowed with wisdom, everyone whose heart inspired him, to approach the work, to do it. 3 From Moses’ presence they took the entire gift that the Children of Israel had brought for the work of the labor of the Sanctuary, to do it. But they continued to bring him free-willed gifts morning after morning.
4 All the wise people came- those performing all the sacred work, each of them from his work that they were doing-5 and they said to Moses, as follows, “The people are bringing more than enough for the labor of the work that HASHEM has commanded them to perform.” 6 Moses commanded that they proclaim throughout the entire camp, saying, “Man and woman shall not do more work toward the gift for the Sanctuary!” And the people were restrained from bringing. 7 But the work had been enough for all the work, to do it- and there was extra.

*II Kings 4;42 A man came from Baal-shalishah, and he brought to the man of God food from the first reaping: twenty loaves of barley bread- and some fresh kernels in their husks. [Elisha] said, “Give it to the people that they may eat.” 43 His servant said, “How can I place this before a hundred people?” But he said, “Give it to the people and let them eat, for thus said HASHEM: Eat and leave over!” 44 He placed it before them, and they ate and left over, as the word of HASHEM.

*Matthew 14;15 As evening approached, the talmidim came to him and said, “This is a remote place and it’s getting late. Send the crowds away, so that they can go and buy food for themselves in the villages.” 16 But Yeshua replied, “They don’t need to go away. Give them something to eat, yourselves!” 17 “All we have with us,” they said, “is five loaves of bread and two fish.” 18 He said, “Bring them here to me.” 19 After instructing the crowds to sit down on the grass, he took the five loaves and the two fish and, looking up toward heaven, made a b’rakhah (blessing). Then he broke the loaves and gave them to the talmidim, who gave them to the crowds. 20 They all ate as much as they wanted, and they took up twelve baskets full of the pieces left over. 21 Those eating numbered about five thousand men, plus the women and children.

–Whether it is faithfully giving of all your heart, soul, skills, resources in the desert…obediently, excitedly and hopefully driving toward a Godly goal, or putting the impossible task into the hands of God and watching the miracles unfold…battling with skepticism, replacing it with faith walked out in trust, all God asks is that we approach the work with willing souls. If we come before Him with our hands full, with all we can offer and willingly begin the steps to a holy existence…He will provide and arrange and encourage and strengthen you so much… even slowing the hands of time, so that you can be His vessel…the means by which the impossible is achieved and there will be an outpouring and overflowing of light and goodness, there will be abundance left over….for you to in turn testify to and share! Make a step, approach, God will reveal and facilitate His Order.

*Exodus 38;8 He made the Laver of copper and its base of copper, from the mirrors of the legions who massed at the entrance of the Tent of Meeting.

woman with mirror

–One of my favorite midrashim of all! The mirrors of the legions. In Egypt the people were so disconnected from the idea of procreation. The thought of bearing children into a world of slavery, persecution and execution seemed so very far from their capabilities. For some. The desire to bring light and life, to raise a generation and imbue them with the incredible fervor for creating and maintaining beauty in the world is engrained in Jewish DNA. So there were many women who would use these precious mirrors to beautify themselves and entice their weary, nearly broken down husbands into being with them at the end of an arduous day. Thus, these mirrors functioned as the means by which Jewish children were born. From darkness a glimmer of hope remained, and now here these mirrors serve as the very beacon of self-inspection, the starting line for the entire service of the Mishkan. It is for these generations that God has made covenant, it is for these lives redemption and atonement that the abode for God on earth is being constructed, it is for the future of God dwelling with His covenant people in the Land of promise that we can see to this very day…the glistening reflection of our High Priest from a heavenly laver at the right hand, continually performing his service to his people….while we await his return.

Pekudei- reckonings, accounts

*Exodus 38;21 These are the reckonings of the Tabernacle, the Tabernacle of Testimony, which were reckoned at Moses’ bidding. The labor of the Levites was under the authority of Issamar, son of Aaron the Kohen. 22 Bezalel, son of Uri son of Hur, of the tribe of Judah, did everything that HASHEM commanded Moses. 23 With him was Oholiab, son of Ahisamach, of the tribe of Dan, a carver, weaver, and embroiderer, with turquoise, purple, and scarlet wool, and with linen. 24 All the gold that was used for the work-for all the holy work- the offered-up gold was twenty-nine talents and seven hundred thirty shekels, in the sacred shekel. 25 The silver of the census of the community was one hundred talents, one thousand seven hundred seventy-five shekels, in the sacred shekel; 26 a beka for every head, a half-shekel in the sacred shekel for everyone who passed through the census takers, from twenty years of age and up, for the six hundred three thousand, five hundred and fifty.

-God had endowed all the people with His Spirit, with His wisdom and insight their hearts are transformed and dedicated to God’s plan for each one of them (wisdom is compared to the Word, or Torah. Yeshua.) Their hearts were unified around His goal.
They gave of what God provided them, they worked and labored under the authority of Godly leadership, in the shelter of the Shadow of God to build the Tent of the Father. With their combined talents and gifts they findsuccess and blessing. Unless we contribute to ‘the project’ and set our hands to the task…the work does not get done. Let us use our God given skills for the greater glory of God!

Cloud by day over Tabernacle

*Exodus 39;32 All the work of the Tabernacle, the Tent of Meeting, was completed, and the Children of Israel had done everything that HASHEM had commanded Moses, so did they do. 33 They brought the Tabernacle to Moses, the Tent and all its utensils: its hooks, its planks, its bars, its pillars, and its sockets; 34 the Cover of red-dyed ram hides, and the Cover of Tachash skins, and the Partition-curtain; 35 the Ark of Testimony and its staves, and the Cover; 36 the Table and all its utensils, and the show-bread; 37 the pure Menorah, its lamps- the lamps of the prescribed order- and all its utensils, and the oil of illumination; 38 the Gold Altar, the anointment oil, and the incense spices; and the Partition of the entrance of the Tent; 39 the Copper Altar and its copper meshwork, its staves, and all its utensils, the Laver and its base; 40 the curtains of the Courtyard, its pillars and its sockets, the Partition of the gate of the Courtyard, its ropes and its pegs, and all the utensils for the service of the Tabernacle of the Tent of Meeting; 41 the knitted vestments to serve in the Sanctuary, the sacred vestments of Aaron the Kohen and the vestments of his sons to minister. 42 Like everything that HASHEM commanded Moses, so did the Children of Israel perform all the labor. 43 Moses saw the entire work, and behold!- they had done it as HASHEM had commanded, so had they done! And Moses blessed them.

*Genesis 2;1 Thus the heaven and earth were finished, and all their array. 2 By the seventh day God completed His work which He had done, and He abstained on the seventh day from all the work which He had done. 3 God blessed the seventh day and sanctified it because on it He abstained from all His work which God created to make.

–The Mishkan reflects the innermost human ideals: The Ark- contains God’s word (we are to immerse ourselves in the word, safeguarding it by memorization, sharing it at every opportunity however small, housing it in our hearts.) The Table- reflects mans struggle to sustain his physical being by fighting for his daily bread (the bread of the presence is always before the Lord, the bread of life is all we truly need to by truly sustained.) The Menorah- reflects man’s obligation to spread the light of the Torah, the word beyond himself (The light of the Lord is meant for all people, it is our duty as small bits of this flame to magnify His light through our lives work, everywhere we go.) Just as we read through the elements in the verses of Creation, we can see that finally the Mishkan is coming together. The people have not complained, or threatened to stone anyone…there has been no distracting, their eyes have been set on God’s Holy Vision. They have freely willingly approached the work and labor with joy and abundance and they have performed the entire work start to finish according to God’s commands! God has blessed them and made this people truly grow.

*Colossians 2;19 They fail to hold to the Head, from whom the whole Body, receiving supply and being held together by its joints and ligaments, grows as God makes it grow.

–One thing I rejoiced in this Sabbath as my daughter and I approached the end of the book of Shemos- Exodus, is that as we read through the following verses there did not even appear to me to be even a hint of disbelief or question about these AMAZING feats mentioned. Questions are wonderful, wonder is honorable…yet there was something special to me as I asked her “How do you think Moshe, whom we know was eighty years old when he came before pharaoh, did all this? How did he stand those heavy pillars up, or place the gold cover on the Ark? How could he have carried the Ark by himself?”…and she swiftly and simply replied: “He wasn’t doing it by himself, Yeshua was helping him.” Hallelulyah! Simple and incredible as that.

Rosh Codesh

*Exodus 40;1 HASHEM spoke to Moses, saying: 2 “On the day of the first new moon, on the first of the month, you shall erect the Tabernacle, the Tent of Meeting.
16 Moses did according to everything that HASHEM commanded him, so he did.
17 It was in the first month of the second year on the first of the month that the Tabernacle was erected.
18 Moses erected the Tabernacle; he put down its sockets and emplaced its planks and inserted its bars, and erected its pillars.
19 He spread the Tent over the Tabernacle and put the Cover of the Tent on it from above, as HASHEM had commanded Moses.
20 He took and placed the Ark and inserted the staves on the Ark, and he placed the Cover on the Ark from above.
21 He brought the Ark into the Tabernacle and emplaced the Partition sheltering the Ark of Testimony, as HASHEM had commanded Moses.
22 He put the Table in the Tent of Meeting an the north side of the Tabernacle, outside the Partition.
23 He prepared on it the setting of bread before HASHEM, as HASHEM had commanded Moses.
24 He placed the Menorah in the Tent of Meeting, opposite the Table, on the south side of the Tabernacle. 25 He kindled the lamps before HASHEM, as HASHEM had commanded Moses.
26He placed the Gold Altar in the Tent of Meeting, in front of the Partition.
27 Upon it he caused incense spices to go up in smoke, as HASHEM had commanded Moses.
28 He emplaced the Curtain of the entrance to the Tabernacle.
29 He placed the Burnt-offering Altar at the entrance of the Tent of Meeting, and brought up upon it the elevation-offering and the meal-offering, as HASHEM had commanded Moses.
30 He emplaced the Laver between the Tent of Meeting and the Altar, and there he put water for washing. 31 Moses, Aaron, and his sons washed their hands and feet from it.
32 When they came to the Tent of Meeting and when they approached the Altar they would wash, as HASHEM had commanded Moses.
33 He erected the Courtyard all around the Tabernacle and the Altar, and he emplaced the curtain of the gate of the Courtyard. So Moses completed the work.

–These verses are sacred to me, not only is it an endearing and overwhelming thought to know that God’s servant Moses did all these things according to His will and order, with God’s hand over him…what a gift for Moshe to go through each bit of this construction and ceremony, he had been ‘cramming’ for this opportunity for some time now…but the deepest part of my soul melts within me as I read these verses and imagine….it is Yeshua who will erect the eternal Temple, who will exemplify for our eager eyes these elements of the Temple service, and that we will be able to serve him there someday……read the verses again, with this picture in your heart. Perhaps you will feel the same…..and Yeshua will complete the work.

heisrisen

*Mark 16;2Very early the next day, just after sunrise, they went to the tomb. 3 They were asking each other, “Who will roll away the stone from the entrance of the tomb for us?” 4 Then they looked up and saw that the stone, even though it was huge, had been rolled back already. 5 On entering the tomb, they saw a young man dressed in a white robe sitting on the right; and they were dumbfounded. 6 But he said, “Don’t be so surprised! You’re looking for Yeshua from Natzeret, who was executed on the stake. He has risen, he is not here! Look at the place where they laid him. 7 But go and tell his talmidim, especially Kefa, that he is going to the Galil ahead of you. You will see him there, just as he told you.” 8 Trembling but ecstatic they went out and fled from the tomb, and they said nothing to anyone, because they were afraid.

–Yes. Moshe did construct the Tabernacle. Yes. Yeshua did rise from the dead. What is it in your life that you think is impossible? (Luke 18;27 He said, “What is impossible humanly is possible with God.”

*I Kings 7;10 And it was as the Kohanim left the Sanctuary, that the cloud filled the Temple of HASHEM. 11 The Kohanim could not stand to minister because of the cloud, for the glory of HASHEM filled the Temple of HASHEM. 12 Then Solomon said, “HASHEM said that He would dwell in the thick cloud. 13 I have surely built a house of habitation for You, the foundation of Your dwelling forever.”

*Psalm 97;1 HASHEM has reigned, let the world rejoice; let the numerous islands be glad. 2Cloud and thick cloud surround Him; righteousness and justice are His throne’s foundation. 3 Fire goes before Him and consumes His enemies all around. 4 His lightning bolts lit up the world, [the inhabitants of] the earth saw and tremble. 5 Mountains melted like wax before HASHEM, before the Lord of all the earth. 6The heavens declare His righteousness, and all the peoples saw His glory. 7 Humiliated will be all who worship idols, who pride themselves in worthless gods; bow to Him, all you powers. 8 Zion heard and was glad, and the daughters of Judah exulted, because of Your judgments, HASHEM. 9 For You, HASHEM, are supreme above all the earth; exceedingly exalted above all powers. 10 O lovers of HASHEM, despise evil! He guards the lives of His devout ones, from the hand of the wicked He rescues them. 11 Light is sown for the righteous; and for the upright of heart, gladness. 12 Be glad, O righteous, in HASHEM, and give grateful praise at the mention of His Holy [Name].

*Exodus 40;34 The cloud covered the Tent of Meeting, and the glory of HASHEM filled the Tabernacle. 35 Moses could not enter the Tent of Meeting, for the cloud rested upon it, and the glory of HASHEM filled the Tabernacle. 36 When the cloud was raised up from upon the Tabernacle, the Children of Israel would embark on their journeys. 37 If the cloud did not rise up, they would not embark, until the day it rose up. 38 For the cloud of HASHEM would be on the Tabernacle by day, and fire would be on it at night, before the eyes of all of the House of Israel throughout their journeys.
